Possible reasons for rejection

CHECKS SHOULD BE PAYABLE TO THE REGISTER OF DEEDS.

Names are not typed or printed under all signatures. Notary rubber stamps with
the name included will be accepted. Notary seals must have the name printed
below the signature. If names are not typed or printed under all signatures, an
additional fee of $ 1. 00 per document will be charged. (K.S.A. 28-115)

Notorial Acknowledgement incomplete missing one of the following: Date, Seal,
Notary's signature, Expiration.

A legal description of property is required on the document.

Volume/book and page number of the document to be released or assigned is
required.

A Kansas Real Estate Sales Validation Questionnaire is required. Please return
a completed questionnaire with document to be recorded or clearly state the
Exemption on the face of the document. (K.S.A.79-1437) Deeds, Af f idavits of
Equitable Interest an ' d Contracts for Deed need questionnaires, or a
exemption number on the document.

A "Affidavit" regarding Mortgage Registration Tax is required to avoid
repayment of mortgage registration tax on a document which has been previously
filed and tax collected.

Full and proper notary paragraph is required "SUBSCRIBED AND SWORN TO " is not
sufficient.

Printing on document is too small or illegible. Please prepare a new document
or submit a legible copy for filing with the original document. Documents must
be microfilmable.

Documents being refiled to include additional information must be resigned,
renotarized, and state on the document the reason for refiling.

Signatures must be original.

Not Jefferson County, Kansas, document.

Incorrect fee, please resubmit with correct recording fee

Must reference original mortgage book and page number.

Need additional $5.00 for each original mortgage book and page number being
released or assigned.
