Recording Fees
In compliance with KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED Amended section 28-115 The Register of Deeds of each county shall charge and collect the following fees for the services of the office.
For recording deeds, mortgages or other intstruments of writing for first page, not to exceed legal size page 8 1/2" x 14" $8.00
For Second page and each additional page or fraction thereof $4.00
Mortgage Registration Tax is 26% of the principal debt or obligation which is secured by mortgage. $0.26/$100.00
Plats - for each page $20.00
Release or assignment of mortgage (for each book and page referenced)
Plus $2.00 Per Page 		$5.00
Certification of any instrument of record $1.00


Uniform commercial code
For any filing or service provided for in the uniform commercial code, the amount therein provided shall be charged and collected.
